The program crashes on start with an error like: "The application failed to initialize properly". What is wrong?
You do not have the .NET 2.0 Framework installed. This is required by Custodia. Get the newest version directly from Microsoft HERE.

The program returns this error on start: "The program could not load properly. This could be a security issue, or a problem with the custodia website". What is wrong?
If you are running Vista, you should try to right-click Custodia.exe and select: "Run as Administrator". Else make sure you have the correct overall access levels.

The program told me everything was uploaded, but the upload is not on the webpage, why?
There are several possible reasons for this error. The Custodia server can be under some extra hight load and therefore not able to process your upload. Another possibility is that something is blocking your access to the webserver. Try disabling your firewall and update your system and webbrowsers with the newest versions. Your data has still arrived at the Custodia server, so if your in some way require confirmation of this please contact a Custodia Admin.

When opening the program i get this error: "Could not get version confirmation. Either the server is down or your connection is blocked"?
Nearly everytime this is caused by a personal firewall or anti-virus blocking the access to the internet for Custodia. Try disabling them or atleast allow Custodia internet access.

I just updated, but the program wants me to update again?
Try to clear the cache in your Internet Explorer browser, even if you do not use it as default browser. Pick your version on this site and follow the instructions.

The program told me to contact the developer, what is this?
This happens when the program encounters an error it cannot resolve. An error log named "CustodiaErrorLog" will be created in your Custodia folder. Please email me this file together with a short description on when and how the problem occurred, and I will get back to you.

Will the program work with VAC?
Yes, the program will not interfere with Valve Anti Cheat since it does not hook into Counter-Strike. It remains in the background logging information on-the-fly.

Are the uploaded data safe?
Even though no really private information are logged, the program still does alot to ensure a secure data storage. Before the collected data is send to the Custodia FTP it is zipped and AES encrypted. The encrypted files are only accessible to Custodia administrators.

Can Custodia be hacked?
Every piece of software is vulnerable to attack from people with bad intentions. So it is a possibility, but measures have been taken to make this job harder. Furthermore the program incorporates an auto update check with regular fixes and tweaks.
